Please note, you don't need a certificate to apply for your SIA Licence.
You can work as a Security Guard with a Door Supervisor Licence. The Door Supervisor Licence is one of the most versatile licences in the security industry. It's important to remember that if you instead take the Security Guard Course, for example, you can't apply for a Door Supervisor badge.
This makes the Door Supervisor Course more valuable when applying for jobs, and will make you more eligible for more work much faster.

It is a regulatory requirement to do an identity check for all security-related qualifications. Therefore candidates who are attending Licence linked course are requested to provide the following upon arrival:

You can apply for your SIA Licence as soon as you have passed your course.
The course fee does not include the licence fee. The licence application fee of £190 is payable directly to the SIA when applying for the licence – which is valid for three years.
From April 1st this course will become a 6-day course instead of a 4-day course. In addition, you must have a first aid qualification before you can take the training. This should be an Emergency First Aid at work certificate or higher.
