This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to obtain the SIA Licence and work in frontline security roles.

Results are usually available within 5-9 working days. You will be notified by email and SMS when your results are available.

Certificates are usually dispatched 7 days after successful course completion. If it has been over 14 days, please contact us via chat or phone so we can verify your address and arrange for a replacement. 

Please note, you don't need a certificate to apply for your SIA Licence.

You can work as a Security Guard with a Door Supervisor Licence. The Door Supervisor Licence is one of the most versatile licences in the security industry. It's important to remember that if you instead take the Security Guard Course, for example, you can't apply for a Door Supervisor badge.

This makes the Door Supervisor Course more valuable when applying for jobs, and will make you more eligible for more work much faster.

This course is for individuals wishing to obtain the SIA Door Supervisor Licence and work in the following front-line roles:

• Corporate security guarding
• Manned guarding
• Retail security guarding 
• Site security 
• Music or sporting event security 
• Nightclub/restaurant security 
• Shopping centre security 
• Loss prevention officer
• Office building security guarding
• And more...

It is a regulatory requirement to do an identity check for all security-related qualifications. Therefore candidates who are attending Licence linked course are requested to provide the following upon arrival:

• Two passport-size photos
• Original passport of any nationality or UK photo Drivers Licence
• Two forms of address proof (originals)

Note: You will not be able to sit the exam if you do not have the correct ID Documents. (Government Requirement)

You can apply for your SIA Licence as soon as you have passed your course.

The course fee does not include the licence fee. The licence application fee of £190 is payable directly to the SIA when applying for the licence – which is valid for three years.

From April 1st this course will become a 6-day course instead of a 4-day course. In addition, you must have a first aid qualification before you can take the training. This should be an Emergency First Aid at work certificate or higher.
